Join Michelle travelling on a small private tour starting in Negombo. Spend the day soaking up the small fishing villages and the fishing industry, which is the backbone of this busy community. Making our way North we walk the UNESCO world heritage sites and travel amongst wildlife at Minneriya National Park, looking out for elephants, deer, and a large variety of birds and hopefully spot a rare Sambur Sloth Bear! Travel to Kandy, home to tea plantations and spice gardens, to enjoy local cuisine and learn the values of natural medicines. Train travel from Kandy along one of the most scenic routes on the original tracks! A small hike at Little Adams Peak and the Nine Arch Bridge. Onto more UNESCO sites and more wildlife safari’s at Yala National Park (one of the best places for spotting leopards) amongst wild buffalo, jackals and more elephants. We will then head South to Galle for the Fort Clock Tower and the Galle Lighthouse. Conclude for a relaxing break on the beautiful Sri Lankan beaches before we make our way home.
